Children in Worship

Infants and children are always welcome to be part of the worship service here at Faith UCC. Here is a place where we know it truly does take a village and there is no such thing as ‘someone else’s kids.’ We belong to one another and we know how important it is for our children to worship, as well as for our children to teach us how to worship.  

We also recognize that parents and caregivers may need a break once in a while. For this reason, child care services are available each Sunday. Our nursery is staffed by a church employee who has undergone a background check and completed training in childcare and first aid. Our nursery is open to infants through 5 year olds.

For those who wish to remain in worship or are older than 5, we have a children’s corner in the front of the sanctuary where kids can keep their hands busy as they listen and participate. There are things to color, fidget toys, puzzles, books, etc. 

We are also now experimenting with Children’s Church! Each Sunday after the Children’s Message in worship, all the children are invited to go downstairs for a snack, activities, and a lesson.
